Institutional Review Board approval is an important part of the research process. I-CARE recommends physicians use one of three central IRBs to make the process easier and more efficient.
I-CARE requires IRB approval for all clinical research studies conducted within an IASIS Healthcare facility. For convenience, physicians and their staff may use any one of three central IRBs for their submissions. Use of a central IRB will make the approval process quicker and less complicated. Most Sponsors will assist Investigators with their submissions to a central IRB; however I-CARE is also available to help if needed.
I-CARE consultants are available to assist with regulatory and IRB filings as needed. Just a reminder that all study documents must be approved by an IRB prior to the start of enrollment. Stamped and dated documents should be submitted to I-CARE offices upon receipt.
Please contact I-CARE with any questions.
